Lost Phone, Driver Hang up when uber support connected us

Today i forgot my phone in one of the uber cars. I called the driver by the name of Kalo through the Uber app, he was non chalant, told me he has many passengers, he doesnt recall me. i asked him to check the back seat and he agreed then continued to hang up one me. There is no way i can get his details to call him and im not able to download the app again. I went on the internet to log this issue and put down my sisters number and email, no one contacted us. I later managed to do a sim swop and got onto emails and sent a request again to uber support to assist. After they asked for details they advised they closing the request as they see i had already opened it earlier. I tried to reply that they must not close this one as it was my email address and am desperate to get my phone back. The email was returned undelivered. Why did the driver hang up on me and never tried to contact us. My Phone is now off and uber support has closed my request but i still have not received my phone back. I feel ****** and Uber is not doing anything to assist in this situation.
