lost phone and no reply from uber

I was taking an uber ride with my friend who requested the ride and our driver was Paulinah. I asked the driver for a charger to charge my phone.when we arrived at the destination the driver took a call from a friend and didn't switch on the light for us when we were getting out. which made me forget my phone in the charger. after 5mins or so I remembered that I left my phone in the charger. so immediately did a rating then on the review I wrote ''I lost an item''. then reported a lost item. uber didn't respond to the report till my friend decided to call check if there's anything done with our report because we didn't have the drivers number. then the driver after 5days called and said there's no way she could've seen it cause it was on the charger then hanged up rudely...I know a lot of people who lost their phones and got it back. I fail to understand how I get mine when I reported the incident immediately and I also wanna know if she got a ride just after ours so that I would know that it was really not her fault it got lost.
