Lost item found but not returned

This is not a complaint but rather an appeal to Uber. I left (lost) an item in Kagiso Emmanuel car on the 27th April 2023. I know it's not Uber's responsibility and the onus is on me. But when I contacted Uber about the lost item, they said the driver found the item. I left my cell number. But to date the driver has not contacted me. They will not share his number for me to contact him. All I want is to call him and make arrangements how to collect or he drops off. It's like yes he found your item and so what he is keeping it. The package is valuable. Really disappointed with their system and service(no even item pick up depot). Got to wonder if Uber got any control over their drivers.
