I want an Uber operator to respond; not for a lift but for After-sales service

I have had a week of usage with this app. Drives have been fairly successful. I have been trying to lodge a complaint with them via my app; and called support line ***. There is no response to my query on the 11/04, and a second one placed today 12/04. The hotline doesn't work for two reasons: 1. When you call you are told they are inundated with calls and you should revert to the app with your query unless you choose to hold on. 2. When typing in my "already registered cell number" (while holding for an operator) I am told that "sorry this number is not registered" (thats with or without the preceding '0' or area code)! I was generally happy with the drivers. I was however unhappy when a driver pitched up early (last week) and I was charged R55 for a cancellation, which was not my initial complaint. My 1st complaint is due to R26 being removed from my Uber account when I topped up with R175, prior to arranging any new services. My 2nd complaint, is for 12/04: I took an UberX drive to work which usually costs up to R74 (at the most); today I was overcharged by R29; and told when querying the help comments, that its due to peak time surcharges. In the time I was being driven to work, the Uber driver also stopped in Eland street to pick up another client, this was prior to me finishing my journey. Yet they want to add a surcharge for Over-requests or Peak-time usage? But dare I try an query this, as no one at Uber will bother to respond.

Thanks HelloPeter, Let me see if they will bother responding here, or actually calling me back out of courtesy, as it seems that courtesy only reigns when you step inside their vehicle, and the feigned after-sales services, truly doesn't exist!
