Heart less Uber

I requested an Uber from work in Parktown to Klipspruit-West. When the driver arrived, I got into the car and he asked where I was going. I told him Klipspruit-West, and he simply said, “I’m sorry, I’m not going there.”

He then told me to get out of the car because he had another ride to attend to. What really concerns me is that he did not seem to consider that I was a woman travelling alone at night. He showed no concern for my safety or for how I would get home after leaving me there.

I found the way he handled the situation extremely inconsiderate, unprofessional, and unsafe. If he was unable or unwilling to take me to my destination, this should have been handled appropriately rather than leaving me stranded at night
