Getting fleeced?

I have been using Uber for my daily commute for the past 24 months. 40 to 60 trips per month. I have experienced a general decline in the quality of the service they are selling, but my big concern is being overcharged. I travel the same route and distance everyday. I am aware of the fluctuations in fares and monitor that closely, but the instances of over billing has become frequent and I am not sure if it is as a result of opportunistic drivers?
