********** billing and cash payments by Uber drivers

On the 20/10/2020 @ 15:07 i requested an Uber from the King Shaka Airport to Phoenix in Durban, my total trip was calculated to R171.00 which i paid in cash to the driver upon drop off. however the driver stated on the Uber app that i did not pay the amount due and to this date whenever i try to use the app it requires that i pay the amount due as well. i called Uber contact centre to query this today, however, instead of investigating the matter and clearing the account, i have been requested to make payment of the outstanding amount.

this is really very poor and pathetic service considering I (the customer) have paid for this trip IN FULL. i am extreme awe and disgust that Uber being an internationally recognized travel method treats its clients with this kind of service.

Stop telling me what i already know (that the query relates to the trip on the 20/10/2020) instead investigate the loyalty and honesty of the drivers whose lives your company name and customers lives are being put in.

Such service is extremely pathetic and for this being my experience as a first time Uber user, will surely NEVER use the service again.
