Fare Discrepancy – Charged R64 for Trip Quoted at R47

I would like to lodge a complaint regarding a recent trip where the final fare charged was significantly higher than the amount quoted at the time of booking.

The trip was initially quoted at R47, but upon completion, I was charged R64 without any clear explanation for the discrepancy. The trip followed the expected route, and there were no unusual delays or changes that would justify the increase.

They charge a booking fee, a surge fee, time and distance fee. Only afterwards. This is unfare and sly of them.

This has happened on more than one occasion, and it's becoming frustrating. I rely on Uber for predictable pricing, and such inconsistencies make it difficult to trust the fare estimates.
