Excessively overcharged

I usually love uber, however my recent experience was unacceptable.

I got an Uber from the airport home the charge initially was R112 which I was completely fine with. However due to the driver taking an extremely long route and in doing so going through an ***** area late at night cost me R190.

This is Unacceptable. This was NOT my fault. Yet I had to literally pay for it?

As someone who Uber’s everywhere I am extremely disheartened. Might have to make use of taxify or a different service.
