Driver has wallet

<p>wallet fell out in uber Sunday evening. Realized it was gone next morning. 18 hours later tracked it down. Uber driver had it. Never bothered to try return it! All details were in the wallet. He claims another patron gave it to him. Claims he never open wallet. All the cash is missing R700. Said he has no petrol money to meet me or return the wallet and was his off day. Agreed to contact me to meet the following day. By mid day I had heard nothing. When I called him he became aggressive and said it wasn't his problem and refused to tell me where or when I could pick up my wallet from the lost and found office. He has refused to answer my calls or messages. I have emailed uber twice and have yet to receive any for of reply or feedback. Do I report the driver to the police. I have his name , cell number and car registration! Please help. Very disappointed with uber services or lack there of. </p>
