2 months ago I forgot my bluetooth speaker on my way to work in one of the Uber rides I've been trying since then to get my speaker back every time I try reach out to the driver he tells me different stories. I tried to reach out to Uber as well but they don't seem interested in helping me even after the driver has confirmed having my speaker, all they did was give me the driver's contact details. I thought Uber drivers were supposed to be better than other e-hailing drivers but this guy has succeeded in tarnishing the reputation of all e-hailing drivers in my eyes. Should I open a police case because Uber is clearly not interested in helping me.
