Double Charge - No Refund

As a regular user of Uber I am aware when there is a surcharge (2x the normal fare, or similar) being charged, and generally I try to move my trip to a time when there is no surcharge. I booked a trip, which did not indicate any surcharge, and then during the trip changed the stop. At this point the price on the Uber app was what I normally would pay for that distance, so there were no issues there. When I arrived at my destination and saw the actual amount I was billed was 2X the normal, I was shocked. Contacted Uber who avoided the issue that they indicated the incorrect price - still waiting for this to get resolved. Recently Uber has become quite exorbitant (and greedy) with the surcharge issue. Taxify is making more sense to use.
