Double Charge Complaint for One Trip

The trip was originally charged at R106.00 and paid by card. The trip was completed successfully, and I was charged the correct amount at the time.

However, the following day, Uber deducted an additional R59.00 from my account for the same trip, bringing the total to R155.00. This means I have two bank transactions for one trip.

I also noticed that their App Support system claims there were insufficient funds at the time of payment — yet the initial payment of R106.00 went through successfully, and the second deduction proves there were funds available. If the total fare had been R155.00 initially, I would not have booked that trip as it was too expensive for that distance.

Please investigate this matter and refund the additional R59.00 that was wrongly deducted.
