Do not use driver LINDELANI in Centurion area!!!!

DO NOT use a driver called LINDELANI, driving a TOYOTA YARIS, for your uber driver. I ordered food items from Irene Dairy Farm yesterday, and as I am sick with Covid pneumonia & needed the driver to collect the food on my behalf, to feed my family. Irene Dairy Farm had camera footage of the driver accepting all the items, however when he delivered to our home, he decided to “keep” 4 food items for himself. Upon realizing this, I tried desperately in my very ill state, to contact the driver but he put the phone down on me & then switched his phone off! As I’m unable to cook for my children do to my illness, and my husband is in hospital, the food he had with him was effectively their dinner. I tried calling him numerous times with no success. Uber itself was USELESS. I eventually got hold of him this morning, 24 hrs later and he tells me he couldn’t bring the food back to me yesterday because he “lives too far away” but he will drop the food off today!?!? I asked him if he has lost his mind!!??! That food is probably off by now - who knows where he kept it all night?! And there is a little virus called COVID- how on earth are we supposed to eat this food that cost over R500 after he “hijacked it!?” I demand a FULL refund from uber for this trip, as well as the money I spent on the food that Lindelani effectively stole. It is unacceptable for Uber to hire drivers who have no clue how to offer a service & switch off their phones when customers make contact with them. I’m disgusted. This person should not be an Uber driver. He’s dishonest, lazy and a ****. Do not use him.
