Do not opt for cash payments. Uber drivers are ****mers and customer support is useless!!!

Guys, if you’re gonna continue using this horrible service please choose card payments rather than cash. I got ****med by a foreign Uber Driver named Liam in broad daylight without even knowing I was being ******. We made good conversation and everything was great. I paid him R353 cash and needed no change. This was on Sunday, Nov 3 2024.

Fast forward to yesterday, I’m requesting again and Uber is telling me I owe R313 and I couldn’t figure out what this was for so I did some digging and realized this guy reported to Uber that I only paid R40😭😭😭😭 I called him up through the app and he answered, asked him if he remember la me and he said yes. Then I asked why he told Uber that I only paid him R40 and he denied it and dropped the phone on me. When I tried calling him again he declined my call. The Sunday that I requested the trip, after accepting the first thing he asked was how much the trip was. That’s probably when he planned to **** me. I have reached out to the useless support and gave this guy a one star review, but I will not pay that R313, no ways!!!!
