Defamation of Character

Upon requesting a trip from UBER, their system selected the option for me to pay cash and I was unaware of this as I usually pay via my debit card. I do not walk around carrying cash. When we arrived at the destination the driver asked me to pay cash; surprised, I then asked why, as I chose to be debited as per normal. He then told me the system shows that I must pay cash, I told him I did not have cash on be but will go inside quickly and he get, he agreed. When I came back with the money he was gone and then reported me as a non-payer. Now UBER has sent me a notice informing me that I am no longer allowed to pay cash. This is nonsense, I can't be treated like a ******** based on the lie their driver told them. They don't even bother to asked me what happened and try to get to the truth. This is defamation of character. Uber must fix this, they can't just ban someone based on what a driver says. A proper investigation needs to be done before they can come to this conclusion.
