Charged more

I am requesting a refund of R19 for my Uber trip on 23 September 2026.

When I booked the trip, the fare shown was R15. However, when I arrived at my destination, I paid the driver R34 in cash.

After the trip, the Uber receipt showed that R19 had been refunded. I have checked my payment and I did NOT receive this R19 refund. I paid the driver the full R34, so the amount shown as refunded does not match what actually happened.

I have not owed Uber any outstanding balance, and I have always paid the amounts charged for my previous rides.

Please investigate this trip and check the driver's trip record, the fare charged, and the R19 refund transaction. If Uber's records show that R19 was refunded, please provide proof of where and when that refund was paid. If it was not actually paid to me, please refund the R19 to me.

I can provide screenshots of the original fare, the receipt showing the R19 refund, and proof that I paid R34 to the driver.

Please resolve this matter and return the R19 that I am owed.
