Charged for driver's actions

Uber charged me for Drivers dishonesty On 21/07/25 I requested a ride to parkstation in Joburg At 7:31 a driver by the name Mthetheleli M. Came to pick me up with a Renault tribe I reached my destination at 8:30...even paid for a parking ticket which was R20. He left . Around 10:00 I checked my Uber yo request another trip but realized that mthetheleli is still continuing with the trip that he was supposed to end 1:30min ago, I contacted him and he kept hanging up I had to cancel the trip on my side but Uber ihas now charged me for that and claiming the charge was fare, I explained the situation to them but still no help Must I really pay for the drivers actions Can I be refunded This is infuriating
