Cashless is not always cool

It is a shame that Uber does no longer accept cash for their rides, at least that's the case in my area (Roodepoort). I'm a state pensioner and don't always have funds in my bank account to pay for a ride although I have the cash available. I've been using Bolt/Go for years now and heard recently that Uber's rates became competitive so I tried them, but gave up after one ride because of the form of payment issue. Message to Uber management: cashless is not always the best way to go. I'm sure I'm not the only one in this country that's avoiding Uber because of this senseless cashless rule
