Carefully led into an armed ******* perhaps?

<p>Uber, I write this here because I can't find a place on your website to write it.</p> <p> </p> <p>Last night I rented an Uber for someone else and got ****** of all my valuables at the pickup.</p> <p>With hindsight, two things were suspicious:</p> <p>1) The driver took a number of abnormal turns before reaching us and then went past and parked around the corner where it is more quiet. Did he wait for his accomplices to arrive and lure us into a more oppurtune area?<br />2) After the passenger got into the Uber and I into mine, the Uber driver stuck his arm out of the driver window with a flat hand that I interpreted as "please wait", which I did. Why did he not simply drive off to the destination. In my Uber experience nothing else was required at that time.</p> <p>While I waited, literally for a few seconds, three armed ******s came along and cleaned me out, laptop, iPhone, wallet, pride and what little hope I had for the rainbow nation.</p> <p>Make of that what you want, in my mind I was set up.</p> <p> </p> <p>The passenger seems to have made it home after all of this.</p>
