Cancelled trips by Uber drivers

Our area has recently been made part of a road closure, since then Uber drivers cancel the trips as soon as they encounter a closed road instead of making their way to the booms and going through the gates. We are sick of drivers who do not have the decency to send a message find out how to get to us, when all they have to do is go through a gate!!
