Can't request a ride and had to pay more than expected

<p> Every time I try to request a uber it gives me an error msg. It says,"There was a error processing your request. Please try again. If this continues go to help.uber.com." I did everything they say I must do on the help site. It is my first time using Uber and had a promotion code for a R80 discount. Had to get my sister to oder the ride for me, so a trip that had to cost me R40 ended up costing me R120. I am very unimpressed with this.</p>
