Uber has started charging subscription fees from my account without my permission. I never agreed to any subscription, yet I was billed regardless. When I tried to leave the platform and deactivate my account, I was shocked that I had to pay before I could do so. This feels unfair and misleading. Customers deserve transparency and the ability to opt in to paid services, not discover charges after the fact. I cannot recommend a service that operates this way.
