Beware of Clever Trick Used by Uber Drivers to Rip Riders off

<p>Today I was rippToday I took a Uber trip from Cresta to my home; the estimate for the trip was R56. The emailed receipt showed that R109 had been taken off my account.</p> <p>The emailed receipt showed that the start point and the end poit were about 300m apart :-</p> <p>"01:02pm | 268 Beyers Naudé Dr, Randburg, 2118, South Africa <br /> 01:27pm | 0A Judges Ave, Randburg, 2194, South Africa" <br /> <br /> What the driver had done is drive me to my destination, drop me off and then go back ALONG EXACTLY THE SAME ROUTE to just past the starting point and stopped the clock. This meant that the map trace for the journey given on the receipt looked right at a casual glance, but a closer look showed that the start and end part of the journey were right next to each other.
