Bad service

I have been using uber for 1 year and a bit. I never had any problems with them, as the drivers are always nice and friendly. On the 15 th December I requested a uber. Desmond the uber driver accepted to help my. While I was waiting, I send him a message saying that I am standing outside. He's replay was that he will take me, but it is not far, why am I not walking. He also told me that I am ubusing uber and I must walk. Right there I cancelled on him and then requested a new driver as I felt that it does not give him any right saying what he said to me. I feel it does not matter how far I am going, I am paying for a service and would like not to be judged where I am going. I complaint on the app and got a reply saying that someone will contact me back. I am still waiting. It has been n week already.
