Your safety is not their concern. They will bill for food you to not accept from drivers

I am actually shocked how little UberEats takes your safety into concern. Last night I received food where the food took a long to be delivered and then my food was opened.

For safety reasons, I did not accept the food from the driver. The driver said it's fine and I must just log it with UberEats and I will get a refund. I attached a picture of the open food. I then ordered the exact same meal from a different restaurant.

I received feedback now that I will not be getting a refund and that I am being charged for the meal I did not take possession of due to it being open.

Unacceptable!!! I think its safer to stay clear of using UberEats
