Useless service from UberEats

We placed an order on Uber Eats that just never arrived. They refuse to assist with any support and say that the driver "attempted" to deliver. What a useless support service. We were at the location waiting for the delivery and I had my cellphone on me. No calls were received and no driver arrived. When I eventually checked the app after waiting for a long period, it said 'Delivered' and the driver posted a note "Dropped at the gate" with a photo of the items order on the back of the motorcycle? How is this even any type of proof of delivery?
