Urgent Complaint Regarding Undelivered Order – Uber Eats

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I received from Uber Eats and the delivery driver on February 28, 2025. I placed an order for a pizza from Debonairs Pizza, Blue Hills, in the early evening. However, the delivery person, identified by vehicle registration LS 12 VP GP, never delivered my order but falsely updated the system to reflect it as "delivered."

Notably, the driver did not enter our estate or use the access code provided. I immediately reported the issue through the "Order Never Delivered" option and followed up for two consecutive days with no response. It was only when I used the "Missing Items" option that I finally received a reply—only to be informed that I would not be refunded because the complaint was raised after two days.

I find this response extremely unfair, given that I reported the issue promptly through the correct channels without any assistance. I am deeply disappointed with both Uber Eats and the delivery service in the Midrand, Blue Hills area
