Unwanted Subscription to Ubereats charged to my account.

Found a charge on my bank statement of 50 rand. Now i know its not a big amount, but was just curious as to why i would be charged an amount as I haven't used that amount for Uber . When I called them they said contact support through the app. Having done this they notified me that the charge related to me subscribing to Ubereats Pass. I have no idea what Ubereats pass is or how a subscription was made, but I can assure you it was not me. When I asked them to cancel it and refund me the amount, they said they can not do so and that I can cancel the subscription for next month. does this seem right?? charging a subscription cost for something I did not ask for?
