UNHAPPY WITH UBEREATS DRIVER
I had the most horrific experiences from one of your Uber Eats delivery people (29 May 2020). He is ill mannered, has no people s****s, extremely rude and should not be part of your team, as this is giving Uber Eats a very bad name and review. Because when people talk, you talk about Uber Eats and not the individual. Dr Schickerling ordered food and this was not the first time doctor ordered food to be delivered to our hospital from Uber Eats. Clement – BV 26 RR GP He what’s upped doctor to say that he is outside. Doctor asked me to fetch her delivery – as I am doctor’s secretary. I went outside the hospital and waited. No Uber Eats. We have security camera’s outside our hospital, and you are more than welcome to come and look at the footage and see how long I stood outside the hospital waiting for Clement. I did not have my cell phone with me, and rand back up to the rooms. I went to doctor to tell her no one was here, and she said that Clement phoned her and screamed at her, because he is waiting outside and we are not there. Doctor checked her app, seeing that he is at the wrong hospital. He was waiting at the Union Hospital, which is approximately 1km away from us. Doctor phoned him, and told him that he was at the wrong hospital, and he put the phone down in her ear. I went down again, and he arrived as I got to the gate. I walked up to him and asked him if he had the order for Dr Schickerling, which he rep**** that I will apologies to him first. I asked him for what should I apologies. He stood up from his bike and took of his “backpack”, and stated unzipping the food. I was under the impression he was going to give me the delivery. He was shouting and talking to me in such an ill manner. I called the hospital security and the security guard said to him that he was in the wrong, as I was waiting for him. He was beside himself. He told me that he was going to run me over with his bike, by this time he had his backpack up on his back, and stated his bike. He moved forward, and I jumped out of his way. He was screaming that he will put the food on the pavement, stopped on the other side of the road, which I followed him, thinking that he was going to give me the food. When I got closer to him, he drove off. He stopped again, telling me that he would put the food in a dustbin. The security guard told him to stop this now. He drove off again. I told him to stop this now, and give me the food, as doctor had paid for it. He refused, and drove off further this time. He came to a halt and the security guard said to me to rather come back into the hospital grounds and report this matter. I honestly do not think that Clement handled the situation in an appropriate manner. He went to the wrong hospital, and he was in the wrong, and he treats doctor and myself with this harsh disrespect and anger. This is not acceptable.
