I purchased an expensive hamper for a friend for her birthday through UBEReats. I paid and tipped in full. I contacted the provider of the hamper and my friend to double check, addresses and make sure when it is picked up and that my friend will be ready at home, keeping an eye out for the package! It was never delivered. UBER claims the delivery provider did attempt to make contact and waited outside for 8minutes! This is a lie! I was never contacted! My friend was waiting outside! And UBER simply doesn't care! We have been loyal customers for years, but without any proof the case is simply closed, and I am thanked for my understanding in this matter! There is NO WAY to contact UBER except for messages that get attended to by ROBOTS! My friend's birthday present became the driver's snack! After tipping him as well! (I tipped beforehand because I didn't want her to feel that she had to!)
