UberEats will rob you - and theres nothing you'll be able to do!

I purchased on Uber Eats last night, the 06 of April 2025, from Yassir Express who offers discounted goods at less 40%. I received my order last night. I place x4 orders on Uber Eats, x2 for myself (x1 from Uber Eats Market and x1 from Yassir XL) and I then place x2 order for my mom (x1 Uber Eats Midrand and x1 from Yassir Express Midrand).

All the orders were delivered, all payments had been processed successfully and then this morning, I see that my order for Yassir XL has an outstanding amount of R155, I look at the total and see that they have processed a new receipt with todays date, excluding the 40% discount on all the items.

I am then seeing a new amount of R361.41 with an apparent saving of R34.80 on my total order.

Over and above this, Uber Eats shows THREE transactions on my account for this specific order, one of which was successful and the other two, thankfully, were blocked by my bank.

I was first charged R361.41 and then another R155.01 was charged to my account and then a few minutes late, another R206.40 which was successdully debited from my account this morning.

Now, Uber Eats is still trying to debit the R155.01 from me and wont allow me to place other orders. I tried numerous ways to escalate this and theres no human you can actually speak to, just AI so theres no actual help.

They have also told me that I used the promo incorrectly when Yassir has no promo code, everything is automatically calculated at checkout. I have an Uber One account so I dont usually pay delivery for most orders and I've been using this app forever.

I am most frustrated and annoyed, I can't use my bank account now, because they'll scoop my money and every attempt I am making to seek assistance is pointless because their systems or AI dont understand that the error is on their side!!!

I'm fighting since this morning to fix this, with no luck! This is ********* and ********* - this is *****!

UberEats, you can not advertise one thing and then do another, you are still trying to rob me even further by attempting to take more money from my bank account! ***?!?!?!?!
