UberEats took my money and made me vulnerable to ***** and did not place my order for food

The ubereats app did not work for me. I battled to submit my order for about half an hour. I kept getting an error that they are busy and could not take my order and I must try again later. When I eventually got my order to submit and inserted my gift vouchers, and my personal credit card details to pay in the difference, the 'Process Order' button was disabled. I could not get that button to submit my order no matter what I did. I have therefore lost out on R300 worth of gift vouchers. They are sitting somewhere in ubereats's system unaccounted for. And I doubt very much whether ubereats will have any sort of unprocessed report to check and rectify this, and get back to me. When I started the transaction again, ubereats said that my 2 gift vouchers had already been used. My credit card details are also sitting unprotected somewhere in their system ready for ***** to be committed. When I tried to get hold of someone (a human being) to assist and sort this out, I rapidly came to the conclusion that ubereats does not want to help me, they do not care about my personal details probably being compromised, they don't want to help me. I tried 2 email addresses, one is invalid, one is not monitored. I tried 4 different phone numbers, 3 are invalid, and 1 is for applying for a job at ubereats. Their 'Help' button goes round and round in circles with information that is not helpful to me at all, and also directs the screen away from my live order/transaction! So if you want your personal information to be exposed and be made at risk of ***** being committed on your accounts, use ubereats. They do not care, their site is not secure and open to *****. You will lose your money, and be faced with a system that has no human interaction or way of sorting out problems with their system. Furthermore when I got into my car and went and bought the food at the restaurant with my own money, I paid far less than the prices that ubereats charged me. They should not be operating, and have their license to operate revoked, and be investigated for ***** and complete disinterest in their customers. I therefore have absolutely no ability to bring this to their attention, and have had to rely on Hellopeter to try and get my message across and warn other people that ubereats has the potential to take your money and put your credit card details at risk and not feel a thing about doing so. They do not have any valid contact details. Be warned!
