UBEREATS SUCKS

I wish I could give them a minus 10 rating. UberEats was so worth it when they first started and now it's just the worst company to order from. South Africa can we please go back to food places having their own drivers for deliveries because UberEats sucks. This is the howmanieth time that his is happening. In May, I placed an order and they double charged me and took endless arguments and eventually a month and a half later they refunded me for the second charge. The shops have no part in this - it is simply not their problem!!!! Then not long after that around 7 I needed things and Checkers was closed and I ordered from a grocer at exponential prices and it never got here. It kept saying later and later and later and later and nothing came. Eventually 24 hours later they cancelled because I refused to cancel because I will not incur those cancellation fees. I paid for it and even if it took a year I wanted my products. That too took over a month to reflect back. We have to pay upfront for our deliveries and no-one takes accountability at UberEats or the shops. How is this logical!!!! I have had so many instances. Again today, I got a toasted sandwich for myself and my son from Starbucks to deliver and what happens, only 1 gets delivered and not the other sandwich but I paid for both and delivery. Can we, all of us South Africans who are tired of places that just **** us around - stand up and say we want things to go back to where it worked and we aren't being *****ed by everyone and we, the consumer pays the price. Not the shop. Not UberEats. US!!! I am sick and tired of things like this. Enough is enough. I am hoping, just hoping that you guys at Hellopeter can help with these situations. My mom only has good things to say. It really, really, cannot go on like this. Alternatively we should only pay for our orders with our bank cards once they get here so that if something is wrong there is some accountability. Why is it the consumer that always has to pay the price. Please help.
