UberEats **** :BEWARE when you TRUST this App!

************: UberEats and its drivers are in cahoots ******** people.

18/03/2022 at +/- 12:50 ,an order was made for fish aways musgrave branch through my uber eats app .

ORDER #: B2E99 Driver name:Masabata

At 13:33 Masabata(the driver) messages and says she has arrived . In which I responded to come in the davenport centre to the store we work at "meet at door", as specified in the delivery instruction requested when order was made at 12:55.

10- 15 minutes had past and Masabata (the driver)kept insisting she had arrived but would not say where she was or give us a contact number to call her to direct her to us.

Then the entire day passed and our order was never delivered but I was charged on my credit card for it.

I have been ordering for myself and colleagues countless times through uber eats and we have never come across such a poor service and almost ******** suspicious behavior.

Besides being left hungry as our only lunch break passed us . We have now lost faith and trust in the uber franchise . How do we ensure that our food will arrive , how do we ensure that the drivers will take us to the right destination if such lawlessness can happen and no one is held accountable.

There is no number to call , no reassurance that once payment is made you will receive your order.

I am not sure if this driver is running a **** , as it is not the first time this has happend to people in this area.

I had notified UberEats that our order was not delivered and I sent through the screenshots of the uber chat where we asked the driver countless times to come to the store or give us a number for us to call her on.

UberEats rep**** it is there policy, due to the set timer of 8 mins activated by the driver, of us "not collecting" from "I have arrived " , which is what the driver kept sending on the chat.

The order fell into policy whereby :There is no refund to the customer who paid and didn't get the food the customer ordered for their family and self, the driver keeps the food and UberEats keeps the money .

During these troubled times every cent counts and food is costly . To know a brand so large like UberEats is ******** the average person on a daily basis is heartbreaking.

BEWARE when you trust these apps.
