UberEats - Refusing to refund me, despite them being at fault

I placed an order via UberEat for collection in my order from McDonald Olifantsfontein. The drive contacts me to find out the delivery address, next thing o get an Ooops notification that they are finding another driver, this is after I paid the amount to make my order a priority. Then I decide to cancel the order and drive to the Mc Donald I Grey Owl.

Uber is refusing the pay me my refund and are telling me that I should not have cancelled after the restaurant accepted the order. Is it my fault that UberEats allocated a driver then cancelled this causing an hour delay in my hour getting to me. Uber is a ******** organisation I’ve had way too many issues with them and I’m just not prepared to take this kind of exploitation from Uber any longer .
