UberEats Misleading Users during promo

Using the UberEats app during their current 2 for 1 promotion, I selected an item from a restuarant menu. The app then asked if I wanted the same for free. Yes please, so I added it. Screen shot shows 2 for the price of 1! Proceed to checkout - no tip txs but total to pay is full price for both items!!! Phoned restuarant who confirmed that there was no such offer.

Fortunately I did not place the order. I am convinced that UberEats would not refund me the additional cost.
