UberEats is a ****

We ordered a meal from KFC (Streetwise 4) Springs West via the UberEats app at 17h00 today and our order didn't arrive. We waited at the gate in our complex from 17:25 until 18:10. The app shows that the order was completed at KFC at 17:21. When we logged in to the app the was a note from the driver that the food was left with security when we asked the security he says the was no delivery and we believe the security because he also showed the camera footage and we were at the gate during that time also. We complained to UberEats and they are contradicting the driver's message, they are saying the order was canceled because the driver waited 8 minutes for us to fetch the order and he also tried to call us but we were not answering the phone, and that is a lie because I had my phone the whole time and the message from the driver says he delivered but UberEats says the order was canceled, I have no missed calls or any call during that time. I asked UberEats to send the call register of the driver as proof to see if indeed he did call. UberEats failed to send that proof, they just sent a picture of a KFC bag, which they say is proof that the driver delivered the food. but that picture doesn't prove anything because there are no faces in that picture and that picture could have been taken a long time ago. UberEats doesn't want to refund us and we even paid a tip for a service that we didn't even get. Their policies are protecting their ******* (drivers). UberEats debited our money and we were left without food, so we bought food for the driver (Paulin) and also tipped him for buying him food, he stole our food. This is a company that should not be trusted let alone supported. When you go through Hellopeter you will realise that *****ing food and not giving customers their refund has become their modus operandi. UberEats does not even have trackers to trace their drivers' movements. They only take their words over those of the customers. Let us all be careful by boycotting UberEats before we all lose our hard-earned cash.
