Ubereats driver did not deliver my food to me after i paid for it...and he claims he left it by the street according to the photo he sent me ,a street im not even farmi**** with, he lies, he took my order for himself.

Delivery man claim he left my food by the street ( according to a photo he sent) that i already paid for, if i had made the cash payment he wouldn't have done that, i went to check and found no food and according to a photo i dont know the street he left the food at it wasnt clear. He put the food down and took a photo and claimed he left it there but he took it for him self, claiming he called but he did not...even if he did call, why not return the food to the shop than to leave it by the street. I orderd ribs worth R300 at sawcy at Soweto to be delivered at University of Johannesburg soweto campus gate and i waited by the gate he never pitched and he never called. I tried to lay the complain asking for help at ubereats they told me according to their policy the delivery man Africa is his name, had a right to do so. How inhumane. What the point of giing me a pin to give to a deliverr guy if he can just leave the food by the street...simply why not return it to the shop or charge me extra for waiting too long if that is the case...
