UBER EATS SUCKS and are THIETS

Terrible service from Uber Eats! I ordered a pizza on Saturday night, February 15th. The driver, Wandile, never contacted me, so I checked the app to see what was taking so long. I saw that he was about 3–4 streets away from our complex. When I tried calling him, he declined my call. He then claimed I had entered the wrong address (which was not the case), and instead of delivering the food, he just left it somewhere in the street—far from my location and not within walking distance.

To make matters worse, Wandile then blocked my number, preventing me from contacting him. A quick search on Truecaller shows 139 complaints about this man, yet he is still working for Uber Eats! Despite this, Uber Eats refuses to issue me a refund, meaning I had to pay R200 for a pizza I never received.

Uber Eats initially reached out, claiming they would follow up, but it seems that was just to silence me—no further response since. Absolutely unacceptable!
