Uber eats *****S from customers

Uber eats *****ing customers money. I ordered at Uber eats and paid. Once the driver got to McDonald's Gateway they said one of the items was unavailable. The driver reassured me that I could just ask support to give me a refund for the missing item. I did that , and they gave me a refund of R8.99 for an item that I paid R42.60 for and now they don't want to help me further because they say the issue is resolved. No I am losing money because they are ***********.
