Uber eats ****** me

I purchased kfc from Marlvern jhb in March 2020 using uber eats the driver never delivered he was lost I tried calling him but he did not respond then he wrote on the app that I did not pay the order and yet he didnt even get to my address. I had to go to the KFC and they said the driver did not bring the order back to them I reported to Uber eat they said I must pay even though I did not receive the order they actually didnt even entertain me there was a balance on my account that I need to settle for something I didnt even consume. So today I decided to order using uber eats they took my money saying I am paying for that previous order I am explaining to them what happend they are saying they can't refund because the incident is over 48 hours, so if thats the case why are they taking my money for sth that happend long time ago? I am so hurt worse that was my last money. These drivers always eats peoples food but the company protects them
