I am shocked by the ongoing *****ulent practices at Uber Eats SA. • They advertise 60% discounts, yet the final price is higher than the 25% discount! (Example: Sirloin steak listed at R74.99 with “60% off” vs another advert showing the same item at R56.24 with “25% off”) • Their invoices show item prices correctly but the final total is 2 to 3 times higher. • Multiple refund emails claim I was refunded R120.53 and R44.99, but my bank confirms only R5.02 was received. • Their “support” is all AI-generated and never addresses the real issues. No humans respond, only canned nonsense. • When I tried to cancel Uber One, they offered me “90% off” instead of fixing the problems. I feel manipulated and trapped.
