Uber eats not resolving my issue

I ordered food from Chicken licken Alberton city on the 1st of May 2023 through uber eats and when the food arrived we could not eat the food because of the amount of salt in it. Now I know chicken licken can be slightly salty but this day it was to the extreme as though they dunked it into a bucket of salt only. It was terrible, we could not eat the food and I immediately drove back to the store to return the food so they could taste it as it is not fair that I have to throw away food I bought with my money and I can't eat it. The manager took the food and said he would contact me the next day as I requested for my money back. I've used up my fuel to drive to them and back with no food! The next day manager calls to say I need to contact Uber eats for my refund, I send uber eats an email for my refund and they come back to me saying they can't refund me. Well I didn't eat the food and returned it to chicken licken so I want my money back, not food because I will not eat from them as I don't know what they could do with my food.
