UBER EATS MUST FALL

I'm so ****ed off right now with this thieving company. The one star is only so I can advise everyone not to use these rogues. My son is in a other province and a university student and these dogs have the nerve to rip him off. He ordered food through the app from Tamarind of India Emmarentia. He was waiting outside the building for his food. He called the driver when it was taking way longer than estimated. Driver told him that he left the food as he was waiting for a very long time, but sent a picture of the food on a car seat. When my son notified Uber and tried to get a refund, they refused saying the driver confirmed he delivered and that my son did not answer when he called. Is this what this pathetic company and drivers do? Rob struggling students and people in general. And by reading some comments on here, I can see it's not an isolated incident. It's happening quite often yet Uber eats is complicit in *****ing from citizens. If their drivers aren't harming people physically, they ***** in broad day light and they do so without consequence cos Uber eats helps them. This is bull****. I want my son's refund. I'm going to take the drivers registration number and open a police case as I have his picture too. Now my son is stuck without food and no money to buy more. I can guarantee that we will never use them again and I will tell everyone I know to boycott them.
