Uber Eats is pathetic

Useless! I have spent thousands of rands using this app in the past years, especially during Lockdown.I always tipped the drivers, regardless of the sometimes mediocre service received! Tonight after a long day to in the operating theatre I wanted to order food for my brother and me, We decided on seafood and I used the Uber Eats app, it suggested Ocean Basket Atterbury value mart.I placed the order and of course the bill & tip went off my credit card.The order was placed at about 19:30 with promised De!Ivery at 20:30! 20:30 came and passed, updates followed every 10 minutes with delays coming in every 10 minutes.I found this totally unacceptable.I contacted Uber Eats but there is NO number where you can phone them! Uber Eats had feeble excuses that the agent would deliver the food soon, but this got delayed every ten minutes by ten minutes! At 22:00 we had no food. I find this totally unacceptable! Uber Eats is supposed to deliver a service but this is a disservice!! The order was apparently cancelled at 22:20, so we got NO food! To Hank you Uber Eats! I I will have to check my credit card to make sure this transaction didn't go through! I have deleted the Uber Eats app and will never use the ER m at as in.They probably don't care but Uber Eats have an lost a platinum customer!
