Uber eats is *** convenient but comes at a price

Don't even want to rate them, Uber eats Uber same thing they are a international company making money here in S.A and when one have a complaint regarding their service you revered to the app where service consultants are useless and do not provide satisfactory service.

26 June 2021 at about 18:19 I ordered food via the app from The Social Grill and paid via my bank account money got deducted with emmediate affect. Mind you I was not at home to receive order but my girlfriend was home to receive coz she was the one saying I should get us something nevertheless I was thinking ne sharp food are getting prepared. 21:06 I got a call from my gf asking did you order I asked her didn't they deliver all ready I checked the app the order I made are not listed under orders now she had to make eggs coz restaurants are closed 21:00 due to curfew and Covid19 regulations. Long story short I send messages via the app to a Abdul who's telling me they have no record of me ordering so I won't be assisted but the amount clearly states R368.90 to Uber eats on my bank notification and statement. The following Monday went to the bank and they inform me I will be charged R160 whether I get the money back or not and I have to get written from Uber eats only then my bank will reverse that transaction. Now I don't know what to do
