Uber Eats drivers *****ing food

Uber is promoting bad service , I had a food order that a driver claimed to have delivered at my gate because I was not at the delivery address on time, he called to ask there was anyone who could get the food I said no because there was no-one just when I hung up I receive a notification of a picture of food left at the gates unauthorized unattended, I quickly called my helper to see if he was around and he was across the house, within/less than 5 mins he was at our gate, but there was no food. Because of the time frame I have reason to believe the guy never left the food at all , he rather pretended to have left it there. When I take this upon uber eats I am told about policy that this guy followed, I then request the part that states that if you don’t find the receiver you should just leave the parcel unattended? I am highly disappointed because I know this is not the first case, but clearly Uber Eats looks past these issues and never resolves or amend .
