Uber eats delivery gone wrong

I am disgusted by one delivery person Malack. I ordered my husband and I supper last night, after a long day of work. Before the food arrived I messaged the driver to please tell our front gate out number and bring the food up , which I have done coursess times before and received my orders. We waited for our food when the man got here (I had tipped him R37 before the delivery aswell) He proceeded to take a blurry poor quality pic of what looked this a piece of pizza box in the dark and stated that he delivered the food .. where exactly he delivered it I don’t know because I never received my food. I went to look downstairs in the rain there was no pizza anywhere and the gate people said he did not ask them or try to hand them the food either. He didn’t try to tell me to come down or that he can’t find the house. When I reported this to uber eats I was told that he followed the right steps and they cannot refund me, I’m so sorry but he did not try at all to get hold of me. If he really wanted to hand over the pizza.- he could have left it at the front gate in the least. This is a waste of money and food . I am not happy with the way that. @uber eats dismissed this and if your drivers are going to leave orders outside have them send proper pictures or atleast find the door of the place they delivering too.
