Uber eats cover their drivers even when they ***** from a client

I made an order with Uber eats by mistake I have forgotten to change my work address to my home address, which is 5 min's away, I asked the driver if I give him more money will he kindly drop it at my house but I did apologize for my mistake, he refused and called me demanding R400 when I said its fine I will come and collect ad it is 5 min's away he put my food on the side of the road claiming he is going to leave it on the pavement he took a photo and send it to me and my food was on the pavement got in my car to go get my food as it was already late in the evening, the driver never left the food he stole it he took the food back all is on out security cameras at work what he did he took the food out took a picture to say he left the food but took the food and drove off I laid a complaint with Uber eats the same night its more than a week nobody even came back to me so its fine if the driver ***** R500.00 worth of food Uber does not care as long as they made money and they leave drivers like that to steel and also bully clients to get more money out of them if you do not want to pay thr randsom for your food they take it and drive off POOR POOR POOR hope uber eats will lose business as I had to lose money Dr Delivery customer service is way better than Uber eats to be honest
